Jennifer Love Hewitt is one step closer to becoming a mom. On Saturday, 25 of her friends gathered to celebrate her pregnancy in a baby shower thrown by celebrity event planner Mindy Weiss.
According to E! News, the luncheon took place in the ballroom of the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles. The room was decked out in gender-neutral colors of black, white and yellow since Hewitt and her fiancé, Brian Hallisay, have decided to wait to find out the sex of their baby.

Weiss shared with her Instagram followers a few photos of the decor and food. Georgetown Cupcakes provided adorable baby-faced treats for the event, and gorgeous floral arrangements from Mark’s Garden adorned the tables. There was even a custom scent bar by Kamilyn, which allowed guests to go home with a party favor.
A source told the entertainment site that The Client List star looked gorgeous in a long yellow dress. Hallisay also showed up at the end of the shower to pick up his wife-to-be.
The 34-year-old met her boyfriend on the set of her Lifetime show. They announced her pregnancy back in June.
Hewitt shared her excitement about motherhood with People after she announced the big news, saying, “I’ve always wanted to be a mom. I had a great relationship with mine. I’m ready to pass on to my child all the great love that my mom had for me.”
The couple’s first child is due in December.
