Gangnam goes country

You couldn’t swing a stick last year without hitting a video of someone performing their own version of Psy’s viral hit, “Gangnam Style.” We have to admit, though, Underwood and Paisley pulled it off with total panache. And can we just say how impressive it is that Underwood could trot like that in heels that high?

C’mon, it could happen to anyone, right? When Paisley couldn’t seem to keep two very different ladies straight — pop icon Lady Gaga and country darlings Lady Antebellum — Underwood acted believably embarrassed. Of course, it was all in good fun… and hearing Paisley sing “Paparazzi” was priceless.

Stuffed to the snout with personality, Miss Piggy isn’t a fan of sharing the spotlight. It’s nice to know that after Faith Hill’s angry reaction to losing a CMA to Underwood in 2006, the two can kid around without any hard feelings. Hill and her hot hubby, Tim McGraw, seemed genuinely amused when Paisley and Underwood whip out Tim and Faith Barbies. Best part? Paisley riffing, “I like it, I love it, I want some more puppet.”

Doing what they do best

Way back in 2009, Underwood and Paisley took to the stage at the CMAs to do what they do best — sing. Belting out “Remind Me,” their big hit that year, they do indeed remind us why they keep getting asked to host! They’re funny, they’re charming and, as this performance so clearly shows, they are two of the best singers in their genre. And when they duet? Well, that’s just icing on the cake.
