Girls is only a few weeks away (hard to believe that so is the new year!), and we’ve got your first look at Season 3. With all its quotability and relatable, cringeworthy moments, the 90-second trailer has us in a ball of anxious excitement.

Call me a 20-something-year-old just looking to make myself feel better with some much-overdo Girls time, but this show is angst at its best. Sure, Season 2 had its rough patches, but based on first impressions, Season 3 just might come out on top.

The mastermind behind Girls, Lena Dunham, is picking up right where we left off, ensuring Season 3 will continue with all the fantastic 20-something moments that make us laugh until our stomachs hurt, only because we can sympathize so perfectly with the situations.

In the new season, it look like we’ll open with Marnie trying to convince everyone she’s okay post-breakup. “I am OK. I may not seem OK, and I might not be OK, but I’m, like, OK.” Convincing.

Hannah is explaining the true meaning of friendship to Adam: “I’m not interested in anything they have to say,” she tells him.”That’s not the point of friendship.” Ha! Aren’t they adorable?

Meanwhile, Jessa is dealing with the reality that her friend faked her own death so she didn’t have to talk to her.

Finally, Soshanna is still working on that whole messy-life predicament.

Let’s just assume that’s only the beginning of fantastic moments that will ensue in the new season, not forgetting, of course, the moment where Hannah’s head gets caught in a chair or where she twerks on a gravestone.

Yup, it’s gonna be good.

Season 3 of Girls is returning with a special two-episode premiere on Jan. 12 at 10 p.m. on HBO.
