Why Brad Paisley’s wife is happy about cheating rumors

Kimberly Paisley isn’t fazed by rumors her husband is cheating with Carrie Underwood. And after 10 years of marriage, the couple seems as in love as they have ever been.

With Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood‘s natural chemistry each time they host the Country Music Association Awards, it might be easy to think there is something more there. But Paisley’s wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, knows there is nothing to any rumors, and thinks it is hilarious.

The story was reported by the National Enquirer, one reason no one put much stock in it.

“In recent months, as she’s faced one marital crisis after another, it seems like Carrie is leaning on Brad more than ever,” the tabloid reported. “They text and email each other constantly, and Carrie confides in Brad about all the problems she and [husband] Mike are having.”

Underwood has been married to hockey player Mike Fisher since 2010.

Williams-Paisley is not only not worried about the rumors, but she didn’t actually know they existed.

“Am I in the National Enquirer? You’re breaking it to me! What did I do?” she recently told Us Weekly.

When the magazine told her what they said, she responded with, “Are you serious? Wow! I hope it helps our careers! That’s all I can say.”

The Paisleys have been married for 10 years and have two children. Williams-Paisley explained the family of four still tries to have as normal of life as they can.

“We have family Sundays together,” she told Us Weekly. “We spend as much time as we can. We’re very down-to-earth people. We come from good families, and we appreciate family.”

Even after all these years, Paisley still seems completely in love with his wife.

“She’s so down to earth — there’s no pretentiousness,” Paisley told Redbook magazine in 2011. “With Kim I realized that if I ever let her go, not only could I never do any better, but I would always regret it. So I had to marry her. I had no choice!”
