Gwyneth Paltrow’s new series actually honors real women

Gwyneth Paltrow wants to celebrate the everyday woman. The Oscar-winner, along with fitness guru Tracy Anderson, will honor some extraordinary ladies for The Restart Project.

AOL has joined forces with actress Gwyneth Paltrow and celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson for a new series. It’s called The Restart Project and it centers on real women who overcame real obstacles. The series is an inspiring look at how they each used adversity as motivation to achieve their dreams.

The Restart Project is hosted by Paltrow and Anderson, who’ll introduce you to some extraordinary women. Each episode features an inspiring story that will hopefully help you push through your own setbacks. The series will consist of 10 episodes that cover everything from dealing with a career-ending injury to transforming lives and bodies through diet and exercise.

This isn’t Paltrow’s first attempt to reach out and touch the sisterhood. The actress has a popular online publication called Goop. It’s an e-commerce site that gives suggestions for food, clothes and overall wellness.

As for Anderson, she’s been the go-to trainer for Hollywood’s loveliest ladies. Some of her clients include Madonna, Courteney Cox, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez and Bethenny Frankel. She’s best known for her program, “Tracy Anderson Method.”

Both women are bringing their personal and professional experiences to The Restart Project. Hopefully, we’ll be able to learn from not just them, but everyone involved.
