Director Zack Snyder has high praise for his latest casting addition.
“Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role,” he said. “We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.”
Gadot has the dark hair and features Wonder Woman is known for, but we can’t wait to see her full transformation. The character’s like none other in pop culture. She’s strikingly beautiful, but more importantly, her strength rivals that of any man. She’s not just a pretty face.
Gadot will have her work cut out for her as she’ll share the screen with Henry Cavill‘s Superman and Ben Affleck‘s Batman. Gadot’s casting is another step in the direction of WB’s brewing Justice League movie, which will include all three characters.
