Khloé Kardashian: “I’m excited for this year to be over with

Khloé Kardashian has had what may have been the worst year of her life, so she is only looking forward to what 2014 will bring.

Khloé Kardashian has had a rough year. After months of rumors about her husband Lamar Odom cheating, she finally filed for divorce in December. But the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is now looking forward to her future.

“I love the new year, new beginnings,” she told Cosmopolitan U.K. for its February 2014 issue. “I need a good fresh start; I’m excited for this year to be over with. You only live once so let’s make that one time perfect. We can’t fix our mistakes and imperfections, so let’s have fun. You get what you give out in life.”

Although she faced story after story about what was supposedly going on in her relationship, only she and Odom know what really happened. Even with the divorce, Kardashian said you can only learn from each experience.

“I don’t regret anything about my life. My life has made me who I am at this moment and I’m very happy with who I am,” she said. “No matter if it’s great, disgusting, beautiful or ugly; it happens and it makes you you. Life is about how you process things.”

Kardashian also had to deal with rumors this year about a new relationship, but she responded on Twitter by saying she is sick of people making up things about her life.

Kardashian has hit some big milestones in the past year, including losing 30 pounds. She said her “2014 mission is to wear a crop top with jeans. I’ve never done that so it has to happen one day.”

The reality TV star’s family has helped her through the tough times, and she said in the end, that is all that matters. She is looking forward to spending more time with them and not worrying about the drama of 2013.

“I never take myself seriously,” she said.
