Justin Bieber has been involved in numerous confrontations with his neighbor over the last year, but a recent egging incident may finally have the singer facing jail time.
Justin Bieber‘s feud with his neighbor may have finally come to an end, but not in a good way. According to CNN, deputies with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department carried out a search on Tuesday, Jan. 14, after his neighbor alleged an egg attack on his own home last week.

“A neighbor accused him of throwing eggs at the house, and we are investigating,” Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. Don Prince told CNN.
Bieber hasn’t yet spoken to investigators in the case, and his people aren’t talking. If evidence is found, the case could be referred to the district attorney’s office for prosecution. They are investigating the incident as a felony because it reportedly caused thousands of dollars in damage.
According to Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitmore, eight people were found in the home during the raid.
“They are being cooperative,” Whitmore told the Los Angeles Times. “We will seek to question Mr. Bieber in connection with a felony investigation.”
Since Bieber moved into his $6.5 million home two years ago, he has faced numerous complaints from his neighbor. In May, the sheriff was called for reports Bieber was speeding down the neighborhood streets. In that case, Bieber refused to speak with the sheriff’s deputies who responded, Whitmore said. The neighbor has also complained about loud music coming from the area of Bieber’s home.
In March, the neighbor also accused Bieber of threatening him and spitting on him when they were involved in a fight in the neighborhood. The Sheriff’s Department investigated that case, but no charges were filed.

It’s not yet clear how much, if any, jail time would be related to this case, but Bieber so far has been unwilling to cooperate with authorities. There is a good chance the early-morning raid will finally get his attention.
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department will be holding a news conference later Tuesday to talk about the investigation.
