The Bachelor has showcased so many fine young gents (hotties) that picking a favorite is almost impossible — but we’re going to try anyway.
Andrew Baldwin
Remember when Andrew Baldwin made all our Top Gun fantasies come to life by being in the Navy and being a doctor? Swoon. (Looking like a calendar model didn’t hurt either.) Baldwin didn’t end up marrying his on-television love, Tessa Horst. Instead, he has dedicated his life to humanitarian work through the Navy, treating malnourished children in third world countries. Sigh.
Jason Mesnick
Jason Mesnick is one of the hottest, albeit most indecisive bachelors in the history of The Bachelor. During the finale, he brought out the woman who he had asked to marry him, Melissa Rycroft, and broke off their engagement. While we were still reeling from the shock of that, Mesnick brought out runner-up Molly Malaney and asked for another shot. Mesnick knew what he was doing. He and Malaney got married in 2010 and their daughter Riley was born in 2013.
Jason Pavelka
This hunky pilot-turned-Reality-TV-star stole our hearts during season 14 of The Bachelor. He also stole the heart of Vienna Girardi — the girl he proposed to — but then gave it back a few months later. Since his time in the Bachelor mansion, Pavelka has starred in Dancing With The Stars, Bachelor Pad and Famous Food. In 2012, Pavelka was a celebrity guest for the Las Vegas Chippendales show. Pavelka dated cutie Kristin Chenoweth for months but the two broke up in 2013, so this former Bachelor is a bachelor again!
Brad Womack is lucky in looks, and unlucky in love. Bachelor stud Womack has been The Bachelor twice, and caught the eye of AshLee Frazier in 2013. (Remember AshLee? She was one of Sean Lowe‘s bachelorettes who subjected us to a cringe-worthy tongue lashing of Lowe when he didn’t select her.) Fear not, ladies! Frazier has moved on to another reality TV star, Michael Garofola from The Bachelorette, leaving Womack available for the rest of us.
Every girl wants a Sean Lowe — blond hair, blue eyes, tall and built like a brick wall. He’s sincere, funny and a man who sticks to his moral convictions. Be still our hearts. Unfortunately for us, and fortunately for Catherine Giudici, Lowe married his Bachelor love, Giudici, Sunday. Did you hear that? It was the sound of female hearts breaking everywhere. Will Bachelor producers ever find another Sean Lowe?
Juan Pablo Galavis
They tried with Juan Pablo, but it’s too soon to tell if Pablo can fill Lowe’s very large… shoes. This handsome single daddy, born in the U.S. but raised in Venezuela, seems to have it all — stunning good looks, an amazing bod and a sexy accent. There was that little misstep where he said a reality show like The Bachelor wouldn’t work for gays because it would be “too confusing” and “too hard to watch,” but he quickly recanted with a “lost in translation” explanation. Can Galavis win us over the way Lowe did?
