Things have gone from bad to worse in Shia LaBeouf‘s life — the actor took to the red carpet with a paper bag over his head on Saturday. What was he thinking?

In the past few months, things have not been going great for Shia LaBeouf and his behavior has been erratic, to say the least.
LaBeouf shocked the world with his plagiarism scandal over author Daniel Clowes’ novel Justin M. Damiano, which the Lawless actor used in his short film HowardCantour.com. And this was followed by yet another bar fight.
So, just when we thought there was nothing the star could do to shock us, he thought up something even more bizarre — he wore a paper bag on his head to the Nymphomaniac, Volume I film premiere on Saturday.
LaBeouf has been promoting his latest film, and his appearance at the Berlin International Film Festival over the weekend has caused quite the stir.

Not only did he appear to have time to answer only one question on the cast panel, a question about the explicit sex scenes in his forthcoming film, he also once again referenced someone else’s work as his answer before making a hasty exit from the press conference.
The Transformers star replied to the question about the movie’s sex scenes with an answer that made absolutely no sense. LaBeouf said, “When the seagulls follow the trawler, it’s because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea.”

According to Us Weekly, this answer was a quote taken from former Manchester United football Eric Cantona in 1995 before he, too, walked out of a press conference.
However, the bizarre answer and exit from the press conference were not the strangest things to happen on the evening of the film’s premiere in Berlin, Germany. LaBeouf reappeared on the red carpet sporting a new look — a smart suit paired with a paper bag over his head, which read, “I am not famous anymore,” a thought LaBeouf has been sharing via his Twitter feed almost every day for the past three weeks.

Could there be cause for concern for LaBeouf? It looks as if he could be headed for a major meltdown. Or are his latest actions just a ploy for attention?
