Men — and let’s face it, women — everywhere finally have a new Kate Upton outlet. The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model has joined the world of Instagram.

Upton made the announcement on Twitter last week, with a link to her photo feed, while also promoting the brand that made her the brand she is. She said, “Launching my Instagram at the same time as @SI_Swimsuit !! Thanks to Si for all the gorgeous photos to get me started,” along with a photo from her recent photo shoot at zero gravity, which is featured in the new Sports Illustrated.

In the first week, the model has posted many more photos, including one of herself with Chrissy Teigen at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition 50th Anniversary celebration in Miami.

In a recent interview, Upton gave some insight on being a model and dealing with life as a supermodel.

“I don’t compare myself with other models,” she told V Magazine. “For me, modeling is really about competing with yourself, becoming the best you can be.”

At the young age of 21, Upton has already appeared on two Sports Illustrated covers and was invited to the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. She said modeling is now her second nature, explaining that she “can switch a pose like it’s no one’s business. As soon as I hear a camera click, I’m on. I tell you, it’s a serious nervous condition.”

That “condition” obviously transfers to all photos, not just professional ones, and her Instagram photos shows what a professional, and natural beauty, Upton is.

Here are some examples from Upton’s first week on Instagram:

The model wanted to show off what her life is really like, and the Instagram page is a good way to show that.

“My life isn’t as manufactured as people think,” Upton said. “I have dreams and I express them. But it’s a business, and you have to be a good observer if you want to do your job properly.”
