The Miami Beach Police Department released a series of photos today taken to chronicle the tattoos on Justin Bieber‘s body, and the pics are enough to make many Beliebers feel much closer to their idol.
Sixteen photos of Justin Bieber‘s identifying marks were publicly released by the Miami Beach Police Department this morning. The revealing photos show great detail of the young singer’s body art and also includes one close-up pic (shown above) of the pop star looking a bit dazed and confused.

The photos come hot on the heels of the video release of Bieber’s sobriety test taken after his arrest for DUI on Jan 24, 2014. The embarrassing video depicts a wobbly Bieber as he attempts to walk a straight line at the precinct.
The tattoos range in content from musical to religious to a bit… abstract.
Staying true to his musical roots, Bieber has been inked with the treble clef symbol behind his ear. He also has art work that reads “believe” on his arm, a nod to his third album and loyal followers.
Bieber does not hide the fact that he is a man of religious belief and even was on the hunt for a place to be baptized just last month in February. By looking at the released photo, it’s apparent the “Boyfriend” singer is also using his body as a living canvas to pay tribute to his Christian faith. Bieber has a large tattoo of Jesus Christ on his calf and a biblical passage on his shoulder.
Some of the star’s tats are a bit more abstract, and the direct message behind the art is not at the forefront. For example, Bieber has the word “love” next to a joker’s face on his forearm and a small symbol on his hip.
Bieber also seems to pay homage to his heritage. There are the Roman numerals for 1975 (which is rumored to be the year his mother was born) and also an Indian chieftain on his shoulder. Bieber has claimed in the past that he is part Native American.
In other bad news for Bieber, a judge ruled today that the Miami Beach Police Department will be allowed to release video of the Canadian entertainer in which he is partly nude, according to Reuters. The video was taken while Bieber was giving a urine sample after his arrest. Despite protests from Bieber’s lawyer, the judge made the ruling with the stipulation that Bieber’s genitalia is blurred out.
