Kanye West has reportedly forbidden Kim Kardashian from attending any more paid appearances following the Vienna blackface fiasco.
After Kim Kardashian was called “annoying” and then accosted by a man wearing blackface at a paid posh event in Vienna, Kanye West has reportedly forbidden his fiancée from doing any more appearances for money.
According to RadarOnline, West has made it clear to Kardashian that she is to stop going on paid appearances of any kind from now on following her disastrous outing in Vienna late last month.

During her attendance as Richard Lugner’s date at the Opera Ball in Vienna on Feb. 27, Kardashian was approached by a man in blackface and then by another who used the N-word in front of her relating to her fiancé, West. Not only that, but she was publicly declared as “annoying” by Lugner after she walked out of the party following her encounter with the offensive black-painted man.
Kardashian called West right after the incident and he allegedly went ballistic, telling her to leave the party right away. The reality maven was paid $500,000 to be Lugner’s date on that ill-fated evening, but West wants no more of it.

“It’s not about the money. Kanye told her no more paid appearances,” a source told RadarOnline. “It was selling her soul and not worth it. How much more money does Kim need? It cheapens Kim and her brand to be paid to go to parties.”
Meanwhile, the man who offended Kardashian with his blackface outfit, someone named Chris Stephan, said he wasn’t trying to offend anyone. “I’m really sorry that the story has gotten so messed up and misunderstood. I myself am Arab, born in Austria!”
He continued saying that he “didn’t want this act to be in any way racist, and I’m sorry again for anyone who felt attacked.”

Apparently, Stephan appears as someone different every year for the Opera Ball, so “this year he dressed as Kanye West” in order to get an interview with Kardashian, local network Plus4 said in a statement.
“Painting his face dark for that was part of the costume and not an act of racism,” the statement went on. “Also, he didn’t in any way have any intention of insulting Miss Kardashian. Plus4 and also Chris Stephan want to apologize.”
