Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry were seen partying together at Coachella over the weekend.
Longtime friends Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry were spotted together having fun at the Coachella music festival Saturday night.
The pair reportedly arrived about 10 minutes apart from one another, but rocked out together at Coachella’s H&M Loves Music Party on Saturday, April 12. According to an eyewitness, the duo appeared at around 1:30 a.m., meeting up at the VIP section during Major Lazer’s set and gave each other a big hug, Celebuzz claims.

Pattinson and Perry apparently spent the rest of Lazer’s set by each other’s side, until the Twilight hunk got hungry and stepped out for a grilled cheese sandwich. The 27-year-old British actor was wearing his signature baseball cap look paired with a grey hoodie, of which he kept the hood up most of the time. Perry still sported her green-tinted hair and wore 3D glasses during part of the night. The “Fireworks” star was also decked out in a black leather jacket and tie-died short dress.
Pattinson has been single for a few months, and while he’s been linked to several Hollywood starlets in the past, he hasn’t been in a serious relationship since breaking up with Kristen Stewart. Perry, however, recently broke it off for the second time with boyfriend John Mayer and is now single as well.
But, while the friendly duo has been rumored to be romantic on separate occasions, Pattinson and Perry are just good friends. Although they often hang out together and have been on several dinner dates over the years, they insist it’s only friendship between the two.

“We were just hanging out, we have a lot of, er, friends… one of my best friends is a mutual friend of ours,” Perry said in an interview. When asked about a now-famous karaoke video where she was sitting on Pattinson’s lap as they sang Boyz II Men’s hit “I’ll Make Love to You,” Perry explained the fun evening as just two pals enjoying themselves.
“We got wasted and did karaoke, like people do, about eight years ago, and it f***ing finally showed up on the internet!” Perry continued. “At least this shows that we’re actually friends.”
