The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Andrew Garfield is back as Peter Parker and still trying to charm Gwen (Emma Stone) as he keeps New York City safe from villains. But is Spider-Man clever enough to go up against the powerful Electro (Jamie Foxx), a man who discovers he has electrical powers after an accident with electric eels? Parker soon realizes all his troubles boil down to one common denominator: OsCorp.

Belle

This true story takes place at the end of the 18th century in England, where slavery is still legal. When an aristocratic naval captain returns home with his illegitimate, mixed-race daughter Dido Belle (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), whose mother was a former slave, he wants his family to raise Belle as a noblewoman. His family, along with British high society, has other ideas. The movie also stars Tom Wilkinson, Emily Watson and Matthew Goode.

Belle opens in limited release on May 2.

Neighbors

What happens when a frat house moves in next to a young couple and their infant daughter? Lots of hilarious bad things! Seth Rogen and Zac Efron go head to head, beer bong to beer bong, in what could be the runaway hit of the summer. The movie also stars Rose Byrne and Dave Franco.

X-Men: Days of Future Past

Leave your calendars and watches at home because this superhero flick has the X-Men battling for survival over two time periods and traveling back in time to recruit their past selves. Confused? So are we, but instead of trying to make sense of it, we’ll just shut up and shove the popcorn in our mouths. The film stars Nicholas Hoult, Jennifer Lawrence, Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) and Hugh Jackman.

X-Men: Days of Future Past opens on May 23.

Maleficent

If you think you know the story of Sleeping Beauty, this retelling of the fairy tale from Maleficent’s point of view will definitely wake you up. With Angelina Jolie at the helm, and Elle Fanning as Princess Aurora, we can’t wait to watch this old world tale of family, revenge and courage.
