Much like the death of his talented son, Brandon Lee, the death of Bruce Lee was shrouded in mystery. After being diagnosed with cerebral edema in May of 1973, Lee was treated and carried on with work as usual. In July, after meeting with a producer to discuss a role, Bruce lay down for a nap and never awoke. Although he had no visible injuries, his brain was grossly swollen and doctors ruled it “death by misadventure.”
