Perhaps the most shocking celebrity death of 2014 so far, actor Philip Seymour Hoffman was discovered dead in early February on the bathroom floor of his New York City apartment. The 46-year-old Hunger Games star died of acute intoxication from a cocktail of drugs, including heroin, cocaine and amphetamines, according to the New York medical examiner. In a statement released by the medical examiner’s office, Hoffman’s death was ruled accidental.
