Yay! Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta-Jones are “going great”

Are you wondering what’s happening with Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones‘ marriage? The actor reveals that he and his wife are “going great.”

Fans of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones were in shock when the couple announced they would be separating back in August 2013. At the time, the pair revealed they were going to “evaluate and work on their marriage,” Us Weekly reported. But since the announcement that they would be calling it quits, the couple have been spotted together on numerous occasions.

Clearly, the Behind the Candelabra actor and his wife are not giving up on their 13-year marriage just yet. In recent months, the husband-and-wife duo have appeared to reconnect — after all, they do share two children, Dylan, 13, and Carys, 10, so they are always going to be in each other’s lives.

So what exactly is going on with Douglas and Zeta-Jones?

The 69-year-old star has finally revealed to Entertainment Tonight‘s Gayle King that there is no need to worry about his marriage.

“We’re doing great thank you, we’re very close and everything’s going great,” Douglas confessed. “Sometimes we spend more efforts with people that are strangers in terms of making an impression than the person that’s closest to us.”

“And you just gotta remember not to take for granted that person that’s closest to you,” he continued.

We’re glad to see the Hollywood couple are working out their differences. They even recently made a rare public appearance while attending the opening night of The Library at NYC’s Public Theater on April 15.

Perhaps a renewal of their wedding vows is just around the corner?
