Ed Sheeran is doing pretty well in the love department, and he has a mystery lady in his life. But that’s not all — he’d love to pick his BFF Taylor Swift‘s new boyfriend.
Taylor Swift has had her fair share of celebrity relationships, but her BFF Ed Sheeran has someone new in mind for her. The 23-year-old singer has revealed that if he were able to pick out Swifty’s next boyfriend, it would be none other than Orlando Bloom.

When Us Weekly asked whom the British star would like to see his good pal date in the future, he happily replied, “Orlando Bloom.”
The “Everything Has Changed” hit maker, however, failed to elaborate on why the newly single — following his split from supermodel wife Miranda Kerr — British star would make a good fit for Swift. Perhaps Sheeran would just like Swift to date one of his countrymen?
Although, playing matchmaker is not the only thing on Sheeran’s mind because he’s doing pretty well in the love department himself: He has a girlfriend! And even though Sheeran appears to be very happy in his new relationship, he has chosen to remain very hush-hush about it, only offering Us Weekly a small insight.

She “works for a food company — well not a food company, she works for a chef,” Sheeran admitted. He also revealed to the publication that she is “nice,” “really cool” and Greek.
So what does Swift think about Sheeran’s new girlfriend?
“We went for dinner in London. She likes her,” he told the magazine about introducing his lady and his best gal pal.
But don’t be fooled into thinking that if you’re fortunate enough to date the red-headed cutie that you’ll get to listen to him sing all the time. He revealed to Us Weekly that he doesn’t sing to his girlfriend in private because “that’s really creepy and weird.”
We’d love to hear Sheeran sing — in any setting.
