SheKnows talks exclusively with Grimm star, Bitsie Tulloch, about the Season 3 finale, which promises multiple cliffhangers and a touching, but ultimately exciting, wedding.
The Grimm Season 3 finale airs on Friday, May 16 on NBC and will feature the moment that many fans have been waiting for all season: Monroe and Rosalee’s wedding.
In true Grimm fashion, though, nothing is going to go exactly to plan, according to star, Bitsie Tulloch, who plays Juliette on the hit series.

“The wedding does not go smoothly,” Tulloch revealed. “It’s a finale episode and so all hell breaks loose, typically.”
Another thing you can expect from a Grimm finale is a cliffhanger. Last year’s season-ender found Nick dead in a box on the verge of turning into a zombie. Tulloch promises this season finale will take things up a notch.
“One of the things that’s different about this finale episode, versus last season or the season before is, as opposed to one cliffhanger, this one has, like, four. There’s a lot going on to a number of different characters. So there’s actually quite a lot going on in this one.”
Asked what fans should do to be ready to watch the episode, Tulloch had some great advice, which included having a blanket to scream into during the more exciting parts.
“Although, have tissues, too, because the wedding — prior to the s*** hitting the fan — is very touching. So it’s a little bit of both. Or you could just cry into your blanket and multitask,” Tulloch added.
Nick recently discovered there was another Grimm when he found a young runaway named “Trubel.” Nick brought her home, which wasn’t easy on Juliette.

“I think Juliette’s getting annoyed because, a few episodes prior to Trubel showing up, Adalind showed up with her baby and they were staying in our house. Then the next week, Nick brings home this girl who has no manners, who was basically just raised on the streets [and is] kind of rude and obnoxious,” Tulloch said.
With Monroe and Rosalee’s wedding looming near, one has to wonder how Juliette feels about everything after the bumps Nick and she have had in their relationship.
“I think there’s a little bit of jealousy,” Tulloch admitted. “Because she’s excited to be involved and she and Rosalee have become really close, but I think there’s also a part of her that’s like, ‘This was supposed to have been me by now.'”
But even if she is feeling a little jealousy, Juliette does understand that it’s just not the right time for her and Nick to get married yet.
“The truth is, Juliette said no when Nick did propose, but one of the reasons she said no had nothing to do with not wanting to marry him and not loving him. It had to with the fact that, at that point anyway, he was completely hiding this big secret from her. Then, of course, there was a lot of chaos in Season 2 because she was in a coma for a while and then she was losing her mind. The biggest thing that was hard for them as a couple was this whole love triangle with Juliette and Renard where they were kind of lusting after each other.”
If Nick and Juliette did get married, would children be in their future? “I think it’d be kind of fun to have a little half-Grimm baby. A little Grimmbel or Grimmette or something,” Tulloch said.
As much fun as it would be to have a half-Grimm baby, there would be a lot of worry for Juliette, as well.
“I think there would be a little hesitation about having a baby who has these special powers. Grimms were sort of born to protect and they’re in danger a lot of the time, so I think that, as a mom, she would probably want to protect her child as much as possible,” Tulloch revealed.

Season 3 has seen Juliette going through a lot. Asked what was her favorite scene to shoot all season, Tulloch talked about the epic fight scene she had in “Eyes of the Beholder.”
“The showrunners wanted to play that big fight sequence as if Nick had been secretly training me in hand-to-hand combat on the side. It took 8-9 hours to shoot and it’s basically me kicking the crap out of this wife-beater of my best friend. That was, by far, the most fun episode for me. I like the sort of girl power aspect of it. Nick is out so it’s up to me and my friend to take out this guy before he takes us out. And we do.”
