Robin Thicke uses the Billboard Music Awards to win his wife back

Robin Thicke promised he would be singing for Paula Patton during the Billboard Music Awards, and he stayed true to his promise.

Robin Thicke has done all he can to win back wife Paula Patton, and he promised his Billboard Music Awards performance would be for her.

Thicke did just that by singing his new song “Get Her Back.”

“I gotta get her, go get her back. I gotta treat her right. I gotta cherish her for life,” Thicke sang during the BBMAs Sunday night. “I should’ve kissed you longer. I should’ve held you stronger. And I’ll wait for forever for you.”

Although the singer has previously said that he was happy for Patton to be moving on, it sounds like he is not quite ready to give up on his fight to get her back.

Earlier this month, Patton seemed to have similar sentiments, but she might be ready to move on and start a new life.

“We’ve known each other since we were teenagers,” she told Vanity Fair. “All I can tell you is there’s a deep love there — always was, and always will be.”

Before his performance Sunday night at the BBMAs, Thicke won Top R&B Song for “Blurred Lines” and sang to his estranged wife.

“Most of all, I’d like to thank my wife for her love and support and for putting up with me all these years.”

Do you think Patton will take back Robin Thicke because of his Billboard Music Awards performance?
