Ray J has reportedly offered Kanye West and Kim Kardashian a portion of the profits he made from his sex tape with the socialite as a wedding gift.
Kim Kardashian rose up the ranks of the celebrity ladder due to her sex tape with Ray J, and it sounds like she’s going to reap some of the profits from the infamous footage as a wedding gift.
According to a report from TMZ, Ray J has reportedly offered the duo $47,000, a portion of the profits he made from the film, as his wedding gift. This figure represents four months of the 2014 profits he made from the film that sent the Kardashian sister into superstardom.
Based on a breakdown from the website, the famed sex tape is still racking up some major money. In January, Ray J made $6,135.60 from the tape and later gained $20,097.31 in February. His cut dropped almost half in March to $9,674.76 and, most recently, profited $10,931.52 in April. After some quick calculations, Ray J’s grand total comes out to $46,839.19.

Once you get over the reported news bit that Ray J is even offering a wedding gift, you’ll be even more surprised to learn where the money will go if the couple fails to accept. TMZ reports that the singer will march forward with his plans and actually donate the money to Kardashian’s favorite charity if they don’t want the gift.
Ray J has yet to comment on the story, but he did take to Twitter before TMZ broke the news to send out a slightly cryptic tweet that contradicts the outlet’s news bit.

Before kicking off the weekend, news spread like wildfire that the upcoming Kimye wedding is scheduled for May 24 in Florence, Italy. In an interview with Florence’s La Nazione newspaper, via The Daily Mail, Kanye West dropped some major hints about the location. “I adore Florence. I love Italy and the Italian lifestyle,” the rapper said. “To tell you the truth, I already came to the banks of the [Arno] river with Kim last year. Just the two of us, incognito. I think that our daughter North was conceived here among the Renaissance masterpieces.”
