There’s only just over a month to go before Girl Meets World premieres on Disney and fans are anticipating this series like none ever before.

INTERVIEW: Girl Meets World cast talks Boy Meets World >>

The network has just released the show’s opening credits and if they are any indication, this show will be a big winner with both kids and adults. The song used for the credits is called “Take on the World” and it’s all kinds of peppy, which should appeal to Disney’s audience. The credits feature lots of fun shots of both the kids and the grownups. It promises that fans of the original series will enjoy watching it as much as the younger Disney fans.

Fans who grew up with Boy Meets World were already excited to hear they were going to see Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel reprise their roles as Cory and Topanga in the new series. Then the anticipation grew even more when fans discovered many of the other Boy Meets World cast would be coming back for guest roles, including Betsy Randle as Cory’s mom and William Russ as Cory’s dad. Even William Daniels will be back as Mr. Feeny in the pilot episode.

In a recent interview with SheKnows, Savage and Fishel talked about what it was like to be a part of a show that appeals to such a wide range of ages.

“We have excited fans who grew up with the show. They’re passionate about the show and they’re happy,” Savage said. “So, now that we’re doing Girl Meets World, it’s interesting because we have a lot of — most of — our audience because we tape in front of a live audience, are people that grew up with us. So, it’s a weird, interesting mix of 11 to 13-year-olds and then 28-year-olds shoving them out of the way so that they can watch us. So, I don’t want to say strange, but we have very committed and passionate fans and we like having them.”
