Rachel Bilson‘s dream of motherhood has finally come true. The The OC alum is pregnant with her and boyfriend Hayden Christensen‘s first child.
A very big congratulations is in order for Rachel Bilson and her boyfriend Hayden Christensen because the loved-up pair are expecting their first child together, Us Weekly reports.
The The O.C. alum and her long-term Star Wars beau have apparently been planning to start a family for a while, and it appears they have finally gotten their wish.
“They’ve both talked about this for a while and are so excited,” a Bilson insider revealed to the magazine. “Everyone is beyond thrilled for them.”
Another source added, “They will make wonderful, hands-on parents.”
And it’s very evident the 32-year-old beauty has been looking forward to mommyhood because she previously told Health magazine, “I can just see this little toddler waddling around the house.”
Bilson mentioned her future kids again just last May, when she told Cosmopolitan magazine she sees children in her future.
“I definitely have family on the brain. Having kids is something I want to see in my future — I hope,” the brunette beauty gushed.
So could a wedding be in the couple’s future, too? We hope! And if Christensen does decide to pop the question for a second time — the pair were briefly engaged in 2008 before calling off their engagement and reconciling three months later — he’d be a lucky man because Bilson is a dedicated and doting girlfriend.
“I’m a really good girlfriend — I always put all that first in my life. I’m definitely the person who would make him his favorite dinner to come home to,” she revealed to the magazine about her relationship with Christensen. Awww!
