VIDEO: Duck Dynasty star preaches anti-gay beliefs again

A&E is probably cringing at the latest video that has surfaced featuring Duck Dynasty star, Phil Robertson. His anti-gay sermon is controversial.

Here we go again! Duck Dynasty‘s Phil Robertson is making waves for an Easter Sunday sermon he made at a church in West Monroe, Louisiana. Radar Online published the video footage which surfaced just this week.

In Dec. 2013, the controversy began after a GQ magazine interview revealed his views on homosexuality. He shared that he believed it was similar to bestiality.

After being suspended temporarily from the A&E network, the 68-year-old reality star apologized, “I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other.”

In the new video from April 20, the patriarch of the family preached at his hometown service at the White’s Ferry Road Church.

It appears that he refers to the GQ interview, “They railed against me for giving them the truth about their sin. Don’t deceive yourselves. You want the verse? The news media didn’t even know it was a verse. They thought I was just mouthing off.”

Robertson continued, “‘Is homosexual behavior a sin?’ the guy asked me. I said, ‘Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor the idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexual offenders, nor thieves, nor greedy, nor drunkards, not slanderers, not swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.'”

A&E has yet to comment on the latest scandal, but ratings have dropped 40 percent since his December suspension. The show is supposed to return for Season 6 on June 11.
