The magic started in a small town in Alabama, where Channing Tatum was born, and continued in the Mississippi bayou where Tatum spent much of his childhood wrestling alligators. OK, an alligator, but it’s still impressive. School wasn’t much fun for the shirtless heartthrob — he struggled with dyslexia and ADHD. What he lacked in academic ability, he made up for physically. When Tatum was a teenager, his family moved to Tampa, Florida where Tatum brought his A-game to the football, baseball, track and soccer field. He was also a ninja at martial arts. All of this physical prowess garnered him the distinction of “most athletic” in high school.

Christopher Michael Pratt was born in Virginia, Minnesota and grew up in Lake Stevens, Washington. He was no slouch when it came to athletics either — the guy we’ve come to love as Park and Recreation‘s Andy, was a state wrestling champ. While most of us are aware that Tatum had his share of odd jobs before making it big (including his infamous stint as a stripper), Pratt also has an interesting resume. He worked in Bubba Gump’s Restaurant in Hawaii where he met Rae Dawn Chong, who helped Pratt get his acting career going.

When Pratt had to gain weight for his role in Delivery Man, he was up for the challenge. He told SheKnows that the first 20 pounds was sympathy weight when his wife Anna Faris was pregnant. From there, his philosophy became, “If it’s there, eat it. And then I would order two entrees at every meal. I would always have dessert, and I would drink the darkest beer on the menu.”

When he was awarded People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2012, he shared the spotlight with wife Jenna Dowan Tatum, mentioning her at every opportunity. That is sexy. Now he shares that devotion with baby daughter Everly. In the same interview with Ellen DeGeneres where he admitted to being “fappy” he also gushed about his new bundle of joy. “Ah, man. She’s 8 months old now. She’s saying, ‘Da, da, da, da, da.’ I don’t think she knows what it means just yet, but it doesn’t matter.”

I just want to know what terrible things happened in my previous life that gave me the fortune to have this happen.” Mr. and Mrs. Pratt welcomed their son Jack Pratt into the world in Aug. 2012, and have publicly announced that they are excited about growing their family in the future.
