All bets were on a Parisian wedding celebration for the 33-year-old reality TV star and her rapper beau. However, after a week long pre-party in the City of Light, Kimye decided to confuse everyone once again and tie the knot at Forte di Belvedere — a newly renovated 16th-century fortress — in Florence, Italy, on Saturday, People reports.

The loved-up pair sparked rumors that their wedding would take place in Versailles, and they were spotted on numerous occasions visiting the beautiful city in the months leading up to their nuptials. However, the couple changed their minds and instead opted to marry at the destination where their baby daughter North West was reportedly conceived. Pretty romantic, if you ask us.
It is reported that after a lavish rehearsal dinner held in the iconic Hall of Mirrors in Versailles, Kimye and almost 200 wedding guests flew from Paris to Florence on Saturday morning to prepare for their impending nuptials.

It may have been Kardashian’s third wedding, but it was the “Bound 2” hitmaker’s first, and according to the magazine, he was very nervous.
“It was funny how nervous he was. He clearly knew the gravity of what he was about to do. This morning he was all smiles, but as it got closer, you could see that the nerves were kicking in,” a source revealed to People. “It’s common for most grooms. I’ve seen it all before.”

According to Entertainment Tonight, Kardashian walked down the aisle in a custom Givenchy Haute Couture gown by her good pal and designer Riccardo Tisci. And the mom-of-one’s lavish gown was not the only thing lavish about the ceremony.
Kimye pulled out all the stops and danced to John Legend’s “All of Me” on their big night — but it wasn’t a prerecorded song. The singer himself was there to serenade the newlyweds.
According to Us Weekly, Legend told the couple, “I am so happy for Kim and Kanye. Kanye was inspired by you, knew he was in love with you, knew you were the one… I know Kanye as a person, as a friend and as a mentor… I believe in you two and I also believe in this song, and it’s number one now!”
Kardashian and West’s nuptials appeared to go off without a hitch. However, there did appear to be some family drama earlier in the week, with reports suggesting that Rob Kardashian was a no-show at his big sister’s wedding and that he was seen headed home to Los Angeles just hours before the big bash. The reason why remains unclear.
