Us Weekly spoke to scissor-weilding Marcus Francis, who insists Duff is thrilled with her refreshed look.
“She loves it and feels like it’ll be easier to style,” he shared Thursday. “She actually wanted it shorter when we first discussed the cut, but once she saw what three inches looked like, she felt the length is perfect. She loved that the hair looked and felt thicker.”

Duff previously admitted that although she and Comrie announced their separation in early 2014, they are regularly seen together, which can come across as confusing.
“We’re constantly seen together and people are like, ‘What are they doing? Are they back together? Are they not?’ We’re really good friends and we have so much respect for each other and obviously Luca is our No. 1 priority,” she told E! News. “I think we got to a point where we were like, we really need to honor happiness and whatever that is and however we need to sort that out or work that out, we’re doing that.”
