The The Lone Ranger‘s Armie Hammer has a massive reason to smile — he’s about to become a dad! The 27-year-old actor and his beautiful wife Elizabeth Chambers have just announced via a rep that they are expecting their first child to arrive later this year, Us Weekly reports.

The happy couple have been married since May 2010 and just recently celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary. Now there’s even more reason to celebrate!
“They talk about having a couple, though they’re thrilled with one now,” a source revealed to the mag. “They treated their dog as a good warmup.”

So aside from using their pet dog as a warm-up for children, how else have the couple prepared for parenthood?
Well, Hammer gained some valuable experience in May when he read Dr. Seuss’ Oh, the Places You’ll Go to a crowd of excited children at the Art Museum Project event at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, California.
“I’m practicing for when I do have kids. If it happens, it happens,” he told Us Weekly at the time.

Things appear to be going pretty well right now because fatherhood is not the only exciting thing happening in the The Social Network actor’s life at the moment. He’s also set to appear in the big-screen adaptation of Guy Ritchie’s The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
