Lil’ Kim welcomed her new baby girl and first child, who she has named Royal Reign.
Lil’ Kim is a new mommy. The rapper gave birth to her first child, a baby daughter, and named the little princess Royal Reign.
Sources confirmed to Us Weekly that the singer welcomed her baby girl on Monday, June 9, at 9:58 a.m. in New Jersey. Royal Reign weighed in at 6 pounds, 5 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.

Fans first learned of Lil’ Kim’s pregnancy in February when she announced the news to the media during New York’s Fashion Week. “I’m so excited! I’m a few months along, I can’t wait to be a mom,” she told Us. But the “Lighters Up” star said she would not slow down with her work while pregnant and would continue to sing.
“I’m still going to work. I’m still going to be hardcore,” Lil’ Kim added. “The baby has made me even more of a beast!”
The identity of the baby’s daddy has yet to be revealed, as Lil’ Kim has not divulged who it is. But the first-time mom’s best friend, Jennifer Dalton, assured she would be the best parent a baby could ever have.

“She’s always wanted to have a child… She is very, very good with kids. She loves kids! And she’s such a great godmother,” Dalton gushed. “She’s my daughter’s godmother; she has three godkids. That’s how great a godmother she is — everybody wants her!”
Plus, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star actually revealed she’d be at the delivery room when Lil’ Kim went into labor, joking she was like one of the star’s five midwives. So, the new single mom doesn’t even need the father to be there at all.
“I’m going to be there with her when she gives birth!” Dalton added. “She has a lot of good people around her, but there is only one person allowed in the room with her, and that’s me.”
