Justin Bieber is finally experiencing a stroke of good luck: The felony charges in his bratty cell phone-grabbing case have been dropped.
Justin Bieber is sweating one less criminal charge today. The singer will not face felony charges in an attempted robbery investigation that saw him accused of snatching a woman’s cell phone after he thought she was trying to take photos of him.
District Attorney spokesperson Jane Robinson told E! News that the court declined to file felony charges due to lack of evidence. No security footage of the alleged crime was available, all nine employees of the miniature golf and batting cage park in Sherman Oaks, California, where the victim said the incident took place, said they saw nothing, and Bieber’s legal team refused to allow him to be interviewed by the police.

However, the DA has referred the case to the city attorney’s office to consider misdemeanor charges instead.
Bieber tweeted about the incident after the story hit the tabloids, when he was seemingly exonerated by TMZ.
