Sources for the gossip site explained that the five men in the vehicle who caused the accident confronted Ballas. They believed he was at fault. However, an eyewitness spoke with police at the scene and supported the dancer’s story.

Ballas’ girlfriend, BC Jean, took him to the hospital after he complained of whiplash and back pain. They went to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where Ballas was treated and released after being prescribed pain medication.

This has been a rough time for Ballas, who also suffered a dislocated shoulder just a day before the final show for DWTS. He was able to perform despite being in pain throughout the finale.
