Kanye West‘s honeymoon was ruined thanks to photographer Annie Leibovitz, he claims, because the rapper spent days trying to fix the famed flower wall photo with bride Kim Kardashian.
Leibovitz didn’t directly ruin the famous floral wall photo of West and Kardashian, but, because she ended up not actually taking the picture herself, West claims it needed lots of work. Thus, he blames her for the days he spent retouching it instead of spending his honeymoon time with Kardashian.

It took West days to get the photo in decent shape because the flowers on the wall were “off” in color, TMZ reported. But, his obsession over the shot angered his new wife due to all the time spent on it during their vacation.
“She was exhausted because we worked on the photo so much,” West revealed. “Annie Leibovitz pulled out, because I think she was scared of the idea of celebrity.”
Leibovitz’s excuse for backing off at the last minute seemed a bit fishy, as her brand is heavily influenced by celebrity work. But nonetheless, during a Cannes film conference, West said he wanted his “wedding photos to look like Annie Leibovitz’s photos.”

“We sat there and worked on that photo for four days,” West went on. “Can you imagine telling someone who just wants to Instagram a photo, who’s the No. 1 person on Instagram, ‘We need to work on the color of the flower wall?'”
Even if Leibovitz didn’t take the photo in the end, the iconic wedding picture went on to be one of the most famous on Instagram, reaching almost 2 million likes and 35,000 comments. Needless to say, West would have been better off spending time with his new wife rather than Photoshopping a bunch of flowers on a wall during his honeymoon.
