Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was arrested at a tanning salon for getting into a physical altercation with his brother.
After getting into a physical fight with his brother, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was arrested at a tanning salon in New Jersey on Tuesday.
The former Jersey Shore star was inside the Boca Tanning Salon in Middletown when he began to brawl with his brother, Frank Sorrentino. Workers at the store called 911, and police took Mike Sorrentino into custody when they arrived at the scene.

Apparently, Mike Sorrentino owns the tanning salon with his family, and this was not the first time cops were called to the facility. Just last week, police were summoned when all the employees’ checks bounced, TMZ reported.
No reason for the brawl has been reported yet, but the salon has been a source of many problems for the Sorrentino family. When the bounced check issue occurred, Frank Sorrentino spoke to the police, who told him criminal charges could be filed.
However, Frank said that he was surprised the workers called the cops because the problem only happened “for a few days,” TMZ revealed. He added that the whole circumstance was due to a mix-up that happened when the store changed payroll companies.

New updates reveal that the reality star and former DWTS contestant was about to be released from jail after posting $500 bail and getting booked for simple assault. Most likely, The Situation will also have to appear in court at a later date.
Incidentally, the Sorrentinos’ tanning salon will be featured in a new reality show from TV Guide Network. The series, titled The Sorrentinos, will follow Mike and his family members as they attempt to open the ill-fated tanning salon.
If this new tanning salon brawl is any indication, the new show promises to be full of drama and lunacy, just as expected from a Jersey Shore alum’s show. But, hopefully, it will also help the family with their finances since the tanning store is apparently not doing so hot on its own.
The new reality series will also feature support for Mike Sorrentino’s sobriety since his 2012 rehab stint.
