A man arrested at Selena Gomez‘s home will seek court-ordered psychological treatment.
A homeless man who was arrested in March after jumping a fence onto Selena Gomez’s property and breaking into her guesthouse was sentenced today and ordered to undergo psychological treatment, according to the Associated Press via ABC News.

Che Thomas Cruz pleaded no contest to stalking the singer last Friday, and will seek treatment at a residential facility, followed by a year of outpatient treatment. He was also ordered to stay 200 yards away from Gomez and her home for 10 years. Cruz also pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor trespassing charge in April.
This is not the first stalker Gomez has had. In 2011, then-46-year-old Thomas Brodnicki was jailed several times after persistently pursuing the young songstress and making death threats. “Selena Gomez and I, perhaps unbeknownst to her at her tender age, are the holy chosen ones of God,” Brodnicki told TMZ’s cameras in 2011. “I’m not overly concerned if I meet [Selena] in the flesh because it may be like scripture says, ‘No man has seen the face of God.’ Maybe us being together is too much like seeing the face of God.”
Hopefully, Gomez is feeling a bit safer now that her most recent stalker is getting treatment. She also has some added protection in the form of on-again, off-again, on-again bad-boy boyfriend, Justin Bieber. The two were spotted clutching each other this past Monday in Malibu, California, and the Biebs recently posted a photo of the two on Instagram accompanied with the caption, “Our love is unconditional.” Sources say that the two reunited after Bieber sought solace in Gomez after a video recently leaked showing the “As Long As You Love Me” singer saying some extremely racist remarks. TMZ sources also claim that those close to Gomez are concerned that Bieber is a bad influence.
