Ed Sheeran knows more about his BFF, Taylor Swift, than probably anyone else, and he said she is really an older woman in a young woman’s body.
Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift may be the most adorable BFFs, and Sheeran has some new insights into who TSwift really is. Speaking with Time, he opened up about his new album and what Swift means to him.

Swift made a needlepoint for her friend with a Drake lyric, which he debuted in the June 10 MTV documentary, 9 Days and Nights of Ed Sheeran. A Taylor Swift fan site tweeted a photo of the needlepoint masterpiece.

But according to Sheeran, he won’t be returning the favor — not because he doesn’t want to, but because he doesn’t have the same skills as Swift.
“I’m not a very crafty sort of person,” he admitted. “She’s very crafty.”
The craft skills may be a part of her personality, as Sheeran explained, “I know she’s 24 but she’s a sort of middle-aged woman trapped in a 24-year-old’s body. She hangs out with her cat and sews things.”
Sheeran was discovered only a few years ago, and has been on a rise to superstardom in a very short amount of time. Although he knows Swift is an old soul in a young body, he knows his soul isn’t as easy to pin down.
“My soul age differs from day to day. It can be 8 or 80,” he said, adding that his environment decides his age for the day.

“It just depends on what I’m doing. If I’m working it’s usually pretty spot-on for work, but if I’m with my friends and the clock’s off I’ll go back to being young.”
