Rob Kardashian reportedly has serious drug problem

Rob Kardashian might be on an even darker path than fans know about. He reportedly has a drug problem that has his family very concerned.

Are Rob Kardashian‘s problems even bigger than what has been reported in the press? While much has been made about his depression and weight gain, TMZ has some incriminating photos with the reality star smoking weed and drinking sizzurp. The drink is a concoction of prescription-strength cough syrup mixed with Sprite or Mountain Dew and a Jolly Rancher candy for sweetness.

Sources close to the family are talking to the gossip site because the family is starting to feel helpless in this situation. They’ve known about Rob’s drug issues for a while and they have been researching rehab facilities. Unfortunately, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is refusing treatment.

One of the photos shows Rob exhaling smoke and passing what looks to be a joint to another guest at the party. The second photo shows the TV personality sitting in front of a cup that is associated with sizzurp use. The container has the words “Codeine Boys” labeled across the front of it in purple lettering.

The Kardashians are contemplating an intervention for the troubled star. This is familiar territory for the family since they also staged an intervention to help Khloé Kardashian’s ex-husband, Lamar Odom, seek help for his drug addiction. While it was not successful for them, the E! stars certainly understand what they are up against.

Rob has been largely absent from family functions, including sister Kim’s wedding to Kanye West, from which he publicly departed before the nuptials. Currently, he’s overseeing the construction of Khloé’s post-marriage house while she shoots in the Hamptons this summer.
