Shia LaBeouf reportedly checks into rehab

Shia LaBeouf has been showing his erratic behavior for the past six months, but it looks like he may finally be getting the help he needs.

Shia LaBeouf has had a bad week. After being arrested during a performance of Cabaret on Broadway for allegedly slapping some actors and smoking, the actor may be attempting to get some help.

According to the Daily Mail, LaBeouf arrived back in Los Angeles, California, on Monday and promptly checked into a rehab facility.

“Shia was nervous; he didn’t look good all morning,” a photographer following LaBeouf reportedly said, according to the newspaper. “He was looking down and wasn’t even talking to his driver. It didn’t look like he wanted to do it but he knew he had to.”

After he was arrested, a video surfaced that showed LaBeouf getting into an altercation with a homeless man just before the Broadway show. The video showed the actor acting erratically and trying to take something from the man. Although LaBeouf may be going through some things right now, his fellow actors are not being sympathetic.

But actress Liza Minnelli was apparently more sympathetic. A rep for Minnelli mailed LaBeouf a copy of Cabaret, explaining, “I figured he may want to find out how it ends.”

After being arrested on Thursday, June 26, LaBeouf spent the night in jail and then made a brief court appearance on Friday. He is due back in court on July 24. Hopefully, he is now getting the help he needs to put him back on track.
