VIDEO: OUAT casts Frozen characters, Anna & Kristoff

Good news! Once Upon a Time has cast two Frozen characters: Kristoff and Anna.

Listen up, Once Upon a Time and Frozen fans, because something extra special is coming your way.

The beloved characters from Frozen, the Disney movie which debuted in November last year and currently holds the title for highest-grossing animated movie ever, will be headed to ABC’s fairy-tale favorite, Once Upon a Time.

Kristoff — who has been described by ABC as being a “handsome, hearty, salt-of-the-earth ice cutter” — and Queen Elsa of Arendelle’s younger sister, Anna — a “fearless optimist who often gets herself into situations where she is in over her head” — have been cast in Once Upon a Time. Greek‘s Scott Michael Foster and newbie Elizabeth Lail will play the new characters, TVLine confirmed on Tuesday, July 1.

Foster and Lail are set to become TV’s hottest new couple, taking the reigns from Jonathan Groff and Kristen Bell who originally lent their voices to the characters of the animation.

“Get ready… #Frozen is coming to #OnceUponATime,” the show previously confirmed.

In Season 4, the Frozen story line is set to pick up after the events from the hit film, and during the Season 3 finale we got a glimpse of the ice queen herself. According to Us Weekly, “During the final scene, a blue liquid magically turned into Elsa, never revealing her face.”

However, it’s yet to be confirmed which actress will be taking on the lead of Queen Elsa.

Tell us who you would like to star as Queen Elsa of Arendelle.
