Lauren Conrad has revealed that her teenage crush, and that of thousands of others girls during the ’90s, was none other than NSYNC’s Justin Timberlake.
The fashion guru revealed to Us Weekly at the Mondrian South Beach Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida, that the “young curly-haired Justin” was the guy who graced her bedroom walls when she was younger.

Despite the fact that Timberlake dissed reality TV at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, the Hills alum confessed to the mag that she liked “the hair, license-plate-around-the-neck Justin in his prime,” while she hosted the Malibu Island Spiced Summer Soiree on Wednesday, July 9.
Conrad may have loved Timberlake as a teenage girl, but she certainly didn’t love the singer after his remarks in 2007.

“The biggest letdown was Justin Timberlake,” Conrad previously told Us Weekly in November 2007. “I have always loved him, and he was a disappointment at the VMAs. Whitney [Port] and I presented him with an award. We were so excited, and he wouldn’t even take the award from us. Then he went up to the microphone and insulted reality television on MTV. We were standing up there smiling, and I felt so stupid.”
In fact, Conrad reiterated that her love for the “Not A Bad Thing” singer was over during an interview with the magazine again in 2012.

”I had the posters and went to concerts, I felt like every girl my age had that crush,” Conrad confessed. “It was probably the end of my love for him.”
Timberlake may have broken the Paper Crown designer’s heart, but her fiancé William Tell has certainly mended it.
