Anne Hathaway and her jewelry designer husband Adam Shulman have decided to add a new addition to their little family, in the form of a brand new puppy.
The happy couple expanded their family by adopting a rescue dog last month, but the mix spaniel/terrier breed formerly named Edward has now been renamed.

According to Us Weekly, the new addition is now named after a Star Wars film’s character.
“Their new dog is named Kenobi, as in Obi Wan-Kenobi from Star Wars,” a source close to Hathaway told Us Weekly.
The name is certainly fitting since Hathaway loves sci-fi, having just wrapped up filming for Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi drama Interstellar, which also stars Oscar-winner Matthew McConaughey and Jessica Chastain.
Hathaway and her beau have been enjoying their summer in New York City, New York, spending time with their pets: little Kenobi and the The Devil Wears Prada actress’ super cute chocolate labrador Esmeralda, whom she has owned for years.

“They were looking for a companion for Esmeralda,” Teri Austin, president of The Amanda Foundation, the Beverly Hills, California, rescue where the couple adopted the pup, told PeoplePets in June.
“Adam came in first. Then when Anne was in town the following week, they spent a long time with one litter. We always like people to sleep on it. They wanted to do that, too.” But the couple clearly decided that little Kenobi was the perfect addition to their family.
