Tim McGraw swats a touchy-feely fan during concert

A video has surfaced showing Tim McGraw batting a fan away after the girl got a little too frisky with the singer’s jeans.

McGraw was on stage in Atlanta last weekend performing a concert when the incident took place. The country crooner had just taken the stage and started singing his hit “Truck Yeah” when the female fan grabbed at his leg and clung to his jeans. McGraw, whose pants already had holes at the knees, didn’t want to add any rips thanks to the girl’s grip.

In the video, he can be seen sweeping his hand across the crowd and hitting the girl, which his rep said happened because he didn’t know where the grip was coming from in the crowd. At the point he was at on the stage, he had fans both in front and behind of him. He was just trying to get the person to let go, according to his rep.

“At the end of the night during the encore, Tim was singing out in the audience and someone firmly grabbed onto his leg and wouldn’t let go as he was moving through the crowd,” the rep told Billboard. “He instinctively swatted to try and keep them from ripping his jeans (which they succeeded at doing), and so he could get to more fans who were trying to slap hands with him before the end of the show.”

In the video, the female fan can clearly be seen being whisked away by security only moments after the incident took place. McGraw puts his hands on his hips and seems to be giving a very stern look of disapproval.
