Jonah Hill managed to snag himself a role in Adam Levine‘s wedding one step above best man. Who knew the actor and the singer were this good of friends?
Unbeknownst to the celebrity news-loving public, the groom had a surprise up his sleeve for his Saturday wedding to the gorgeous Behati Prinsloo. Given both the honor and responsibility of officiating the entire ceremony was none other than the man we came to love in Superbad.
You read that right. Jonah Hill acted as the officiant for the much-anticipated Prinsloo-Levine joining of lives.

A source has confirmed to Us Weekly that it was the Academy-Award nominated star that was put in charge of getting the “I do’s” underway, and his officiating wasn’t without a joke or two.
“Adam knew that he was putting himself [in] good hands by having Jonah officiate,” an insider is quoted as divulging. “He and Behati set out to make this the most fun wedding that anybody had ever experienced and they truly did just that.”

While there’s no word on whether or not the bride truly was thrilled by the idea of Hill presiding over her big day, we’re certain Levine loved it.
“Our dads met in the principal’s office in junior high,” the Moneyball star told Howard Stern earlier this summer while sharing how their longtime friendship began. “We were in carpool, we lived at each other’s houses.”
Other famous talents taking part in the A-list wedding include the groom’s Maroon 5 bandmate James Valentine, who showed off his skills on the acoustic guitar, and legendary songstress Stevie Nicks, who flew to Los Cabos, Mexico, to perform as well.
