Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling have a long history together and have known each other for more than two decades, so it’s not surprising that Garth doesn’t want to see her friend hurt.
Spelling has been going through a tough time in her life lately, and her former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Ian Ziering‘s comment about her reality TV series True Tori (which clearly documents her marital problems) did not make her life any easier.
Ziering previously referred to Spelling’s show as a train wreck, and now Garth is letting the world know just how hurt Spelling was by that comment.

“On one hand, he does love Tori in the way we all love each other and the bond that we all share. It was a little harsh — just the words ‘How do you not watch a trainwreck (sic)?'” Garth explained to HuffPost Live Caitlyn Becker while promoting her show Mystery Girls on Thursday.
“I know that that really hurt Tori — because people can take that in a very wrong way. But her reality show wasn’t for everyone,” she continued. “And for me, it was hard to watch just because I love her so much. It was so hard for me to see that kind of position she was in.”

So what were Ziering’s exact comments about his former co-star?
“It saddens me to see Tori going through all this pain [and] that there are kids involved. I have a tremendous amount of love for Tori and it’s just sad. I’m sad,” the Sharknado actor previously told Access Hollywood Live. “I don’t know what to make of it. It’s a train wreck, it’s a train wreck!”
