The plot revolves around the Griffins finding themselves in the Simpsons’ town of Springfield. While the families bond over doughnuts, their friendship might be tested by an argument over Pawtucket Patriot Ale versus Duff Beer. The disagreement even leads to an action-packed fight between Peter and Homer.
Just by watching the five-minute clip, any viewer knows they are in good hands when Peter Griffin utters, “Don’t drink the water, everyone around here looks like they have hepatitis.”
In turn, Homer Simpson notes the Griffin family’s pale existence. He tells Kwik-E-Mart owner Apu, “A dozen doughnuts for our albino visitors.”

In addition to the crossover episode, the Family Guy audience can also look forward to the return of Jesus to Quahog, a jam-packed slate of guest stars including Liam Neeson, Julie Bowen and Allison Janney as well as some quirky story lines where Meg gets recruited to be a foot-fetish model.
The exciting news is that Family Guy might finally get the feature film treatment. At the Q&A, director Peter Shin shared, “We kind of started… pre-work on it a couple years back, but I think it’s on hold right now because Seth is filming Ted 2. But I think maybe in the future it might happen.”
