Lucy Hale gets comfy at the Grand Ole Opry in new video

Lucy Hale‘s dreams of becoming a country singer have officially been cemented. In the music video for her latest single, “Lie a Little Better,” the actress-turned-songstress takes center stage at the legendary Grand Ole Opry.

Just a week after performing the tune in front of audiences on So You Think You Can Dance, Lucy dropped the Philip Andelman-directed music video, which marks her second single off her debut album, Road Better. It’s a pretty simple concept: Take on the legendary venue and find time to goof around in the Nashville air. Shots of the band tuning up and making things just right for the performance fill in scattered shots of Hale owning it like a pro on the lightly-dimmed stage.

“Lie a Little Better” may not be a fitting song to actually hear on Pretty Little Liars, but the lyrics surely do make a connection with the show. “The truth is I’m fallin to pieces/Anytime that you’re around/Trouble is the truth keeps slippin out,” she belts during the country track.

Just before Lucy dropped her album, she took to the Opry for her debut performance and even tweeted about the big night, admitting that she’s dreamt of the moment since she was a little girl. Looks like the moment was so moving that she wanted to relive it forever in the form of one of her music videos.
