Get to work! 100 Children’s Books to Read in a Lifetime

I thoroughly believe children’s books are timeless. No matter how old I get, I still find comfort in the words of Dr. Seuss, Madeleine L’Engle, and Shel Silverstein.

Is it because children’s books take us back to a happier, simpler time before bills, laundry and work? Maybe. Or maybe it’s because children’s books carry messages for all ages: messages of love, forgiveness and hope.

In honor of the best of the best, the Amazon Books editors have compiled the 100 Children’s Books to Read in a Lifetime. You can be 25 or 85; these books are important. Seira Wilson, children’s book editor at Amazon, chose her top 10, but you can find the full list below, as well.
