I thoroughly believe children’s books are timeless. No matter how old I get, I still find comfort in the words of Dr. Seuss, Madeleine L’Engle, and Shel Silverstein.
Is it because children’s books take us back to a happier, simpler time before bills, laundry and work? Maybe. Or maybe it’s because children’s books carry messages for all ages: messages of love, forgiveness and hope.
