Anna Paquin schools Larry King on how bisexuality works

Anna Paquin‘s bisexuality is fast becoming a hot topic, with even Larry King wanting to find out more. The mom of two recently laid it all out for all those who are curious about how being married and being bi works.

Paquin, who wed True Blood co-star, Stephen Moyer, in 2010, has been increasingly open about her sexual preference in recent weeks. She recently shared she’s proud to be a bi, married mom and she was not afraid to get into discussion about her sex life during her recent visit to Larry King Now.

The beauty even went so far as to have a little question and answer session with the 80-year-old host.

“Are you a non-practicing bisexual?” King asked the mother of twins, Charlie and Poppy.

“Well, I am married to my husband,” Paquin replied. “And we are happily, monogamously married.”

“But you were bisexual?” he went on to inquire

To which she replied, “Well, I don’t think it’s a past tense thing.”

When the host persisted, Paquin did the courtesy of elaborating for him.

“Are you still straight if you are with somebody?” she asked King, who has notoriously been married eight times to seven different women. “If you were to break up with them or if they were to die, it doesn’t prevent your sexuality from existing. It doesn’t really work like that.”

Edging into joke territory, King interrupted by saying, “Stop with wishful thinking.”

Proving once again she’s not one to take the subject matter lightly, the 32-year-old, who filmed a PSA for the Give a Damn Campaign in 2010, clarified, “I’m just saying, it doesn’t really work like that.”

During the same interview, King asked Paquin if she felt that television shows have had an influence on the increasing acceptance of gay marriage and LGBT rights.

The woman we’ve loved watching portray Sookie Stackhouse replied honestly, “I don’t watch a lot of TV, but our show certainly has a lot of sexual fluidity.”

Why do you think it’s hard for many to understand Anna Paquin being a married, bisexual mom?
