Taylor Swift is using her summer to brighten someone else’s day.
Swift dropped by Boston Children’s Hospital to play a surprise private concert for 6-year-old Jordan who is currently being treated for leukemia and suffers from a rare genetic disorder called Williams syndrome.
Ed Sheeran: Taylor Swift is really a middle-aged woman >>
Jordan is a huge Taylor Swift fan, and the singer graciously took time with the little guy to talk about some of his other favorite things like Spider-Man and his favorite songs. Swift then brought out her guitar and started strumming away with her hit, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” Swift even danced with Jordan and walked him through which parts to sing with her along the way.
Considering that she’s in a hospital room, tuning her guitar as she goes, and rocking out with a 6-year-old, the songstress sounds amazing. Not only does this prove that Swift has a heart of gold, it also proves she can belt out a mean tune on the fly.
Taylor Swift is true & special, but has no time for boys >>
Jordan’s family set up a Facebook page to document Jordan’s journey and shared some other fun clips of Swift’s visit, including this round of air hockey between the two.
Shortly after Swift’s visit, little Jordan had another round of chemotherapy, which his family said was rough. They posted a picture on Facebook of a not too happy-looking Jordan with his dad.
The video of Swift’s private concert is definitely endearing and worth the watch. Jordan is so excited to have Swift with him it’s infectious. Maybe grab some tissues before you press play. Watch the full clip below.
