So long, lovebug — Joe Jonas, Blanda Eggenschwiler have split

Joe Jonas and his girlfriend of 20 months, Blanda Eggenschwiler, have decided to go their separate ways.

The singer’s rep has confirmed to Us Weekly that Jonas and Eggenschwiler have broken up, but the parting is mutual and without animosity.

“Joe and Blanda have mutually decided to part ways,” the rep said. “The split was amicable and the two remain friends, with great respect for one another.”

The former couple began dating in November 2012 after a pal introduced them to each other. They seemed to be happy together and appeared at numerous public events throughout their relationship. However, at a recent outing to the Cadillac & Refinery29 party in Hollywood on June 19, an onlooker said there was something amiss with the Swiss model and the middle Jonas brother.

“He posed for photos by himself and then stormed inside,” the witness said.

But, during several other appearances and trips together, Jonas and Eggenschwiler looked happy and got along well, according to sources present.

“You can tell Joe and Blanda are happy together,” said an onlooker at Nylon‘s music issue party this past May, adding that they seemed “to get along,” and joked with each other.

Eggenschwiler, a graphic designer and model, was someone Jonas said he really cared about during an interview with New York magazine last December. “We get each other,” he said at the time. But, it now seems the pretty blonde has joined Jonas’ long list of famous exes.

In the last several years, the busy actor’s girlfriends have included Ashley Greene, Camilla Belle, Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift. However, the hunky singer has said he did wait until he was 20 to be sexually involved with anyone.

“I did other stuff before then but I was sexually active at 20,” Jonas said. “I’m glad I waited for the right person because you look back and you go, ‘That girl was bats*** crazy. I’m glad I didn’t go there.'”
